I have a story I found quite interesting and I think you all might enjoy it as well.
Title: My Trip to Faith
Written by: Kaijick 'Rain'
So, it had been decided. I must become a warrior to use my new training. My path to become an executioner from here on would undoubtedly be long and difficult, but I had faith that I would persevere.
As I left Konrad with my new knowledge, I started to think of where I could learn the skill I needed to progress to a warrior: Toughness I. As I passed fellow adventurers I would ask where I could learn Toughness I, and after many attempts, one kind traveller told me that I could buy it from a vendor in a town called Faith. And so, I departed for faith.
After three minutes of riding my horse at top speed, I stopped to look at my world map. "Oh God" I thought to myself as I saw I was still several times farther than I had traveled. With a sigh I packed my map away and continued my journey. This was going to take longer than I thought.
As I rode on, I saw some beautiful antelope on the side of the trail, and I smiled at the pleasantness. As I turned my eyes back to the trail, there was a HUGE ox in the middle of it. I came very close to hitting it. I moved aside and kept riding, but I had obviously made it mad, because it was raging behind me. As if that wasn't bad enough, there was a flock of huge birds up ahead that started chasing me with hungry eyes as I rode past! Riding as fast as my poor mount could go, I turned back to see if they were still following me. More oxen! More birds! I decided I wouldnt look back anymore until I could hear they were closer.
No doubt about it: I couldn't continue like this for much longer. my horse has foam around his mouth and nostrils, my legs were killing me, we were both exhausted and about to collapse...and then I saw it. A house. I saw a house! My god I never felt so happy to just see a house in my whole life! With renewed vigor we sped forward. It wasn't a great house, obviously we were in the slums of Faith, but we were in Faith nonetheless. I looked back and saw the dreaded animals running away, and my horse dove in the water with happiness the second I dismounted. We were here.
