wondering if you could implement some useful NPC's in serenity.
such as: horse guy, merchant guy (like sam or eckard)(but that would be a lazy way out, you could make an armor dude and a weapon guy or whatever..) and last but not least.. a teleporter person.
I'd like to feel that through the game, as you advance in level, you migrate to a new sector to greet new challenges. When it came time to fight monsters in serenity, I still had to run back and forth from sector 3 to rhallis (faith) to sell/buy horses gear and such. It would be nice to call the city of serenity home, and to see multiple people there at a time would be cool!
anyways, I've presented my claim. what do you think?
ps. if you also wanted to give me a try, i could write some chats and/or quests for these potential NPC's for your approval?

I understand what you are saying, but...
Horse merchant: Probably not since you are not supposed to have a horse deed in town.
Traveling armor / weapon merchant: Have you seen how many merchants are in town?
Teleporter: It might be nice to have transportation services within the sector. Though from serenity everything is pretty close in that sector. I can see how being able to return to faith could be useful.
As for each sector being used for advanced leveling. All 4 sectors (except for hope peninsula) pretty much have similar leveling ranges. Stuff for level 30 up.
But!!!! I do agree that having something npc based to do in serenity could be nice. Maybe a Hired labor area with repeatable "jobs" or like an artifact collector that gives you a quests to find rares\uncommons.

yeah your're right about the whole horse thing, didn't realize that. there could be some standalone horse stables outside town though.
and for the merchants, i guess i mean a merchant that can trade anything, even junk stuff like gems or hides and stuff. and i dont think there is a general crafter npc there (but thats not as important.)
with the 4th sector out (which i dont beleive there is a normal town in) it would be nice to have a tele in serenity that will take you to a couple key parts of the 4th sector and of course faith. ( and the excuse for a tele teleing you so far is that serenity is an ultimate and large city :E!)
I like your ideas about the jobs, would add some more replay value in-game.
I also just thought it would be cool to have an npc in the library that gives quests that could maybe unlock different rooms in the library that had more books with more in depth info on secret crafts and location coords to places!
