I dont really have a place to put this .. so since Chip helped me alot I will put it here. Work on Animated armor is going nicely, for those that don't know what it is .. its a monster sprite I did up .. one of a few I had in mind .. I have been meaning to do it for a while anywho we might see this in up comming versions of akarra.. might not .. I wanna post it here so see what everyone thought .. but also what apoc thinks. Heres the monster at rest and the monster moveing toward its prey. the first gif is about 3 sec per frame faster .. if this is implemented in akara it will be fixed properly .. thatsjust an older picture. I however dont think I am done with this monster :/ any thoughts ?

Looks really nice ^^. I've been busy lately (playing PS2 =P) but I hope to finish what I've been working on, and I hope this will be put in as well. =)

well if its liked by the devs .. then I will complete a set of "like" monsters .. I don't wanna release any more spoilers here.
I got a question for Apoc tho .. I know you can have a monster sit still animated and move with a different animation .. what about an attak animation ? can akarra handle all of that ?

Will do attack animation .. and more color .. the color thing is gonna be hard lol hes supposed to look like armor that is on fire lol

I think it looks fine without color because generally you don't see colored suits of armor.

I have made a few more monsters for apoc .. I wont give you a count because he may not use them all.. there is 1 monster that is a neat concept I hope will be implemented.
Anywho back to work.

In Akarra none of the monsters have animations for moving or attacking and the players accepted that just fine. Also, adding moving and attacking animations would look kinda weird while comparing the char (which cant have moving and attacking animations) against the moving and attacking animated monster.

This is true .. and perhaps if the game can handle it i will animate the players .. but .. ho gawd ... you have no idea how many images make up the players lol.
I am starting to see why khaile left this project .. I mean the game is great don't get me wrong .. but the codeing needs gutted.. yes the source has been bought .. but ya know what something tells me that we arn't gonna see a very different game right off the bat.. there is just soo many things to fix.

banned ? lol apoc probably agrees .. I mean the game cant handle death animations .. It can't handle Unsheathing animations... thats just the animation part ... The image format blows... and the .. ahh nevermind you get the point ... Im not saying apoc server sucks.. its very impressive . best out there... I'm just saying that working with what we have is sometimes fustrateing.
