How about adding Lightning as a skill the neos can use so that when people want to make a druid they don't have to level them as mundane or does this require the source code?

Neophyte's arnt meant to have lightning because their class is focused on the divine path. If you choose to make a white druid, you can use harm until your druid class.

Since a white druid loses three green spells: Nature's Defense, Entangle, and Barkskin, in trade for Harm (which is almost a necessity to level a Neophyte when there aren't enough people to fs with), is there any offensive spell that might work to promote more green souled druids and shamans? I understand the premise of neophytes is to fs and provide buffs, but when there simply aren't enough people for fsing it would be nice to have some sort of offensive green spell for either green neophytes or clerics so that you could still fight and level on your own. Just a suggestion. Been wanting to make a druid for a while but its difficult to level a green one without help. And it seems like the Naturalist side of the house is more combat oriented and green-based, so some sort of offensive spell similar to Harm would be nice. I realize all the classes can't be too easy or it wouldn't be fun, just trying to think of something that would balance it out a little so that we could see more green naturalists running around. Another idea for druids: Not sure if Ambus's Soul Shredder is in play or not, saw it on the Dukes Apedia, but if it is, maybe make a Benedek's Soul Slicer for Gifted druids or shaman's only to balance it out. I know there's a lot to work on, not trying to overburden anyone since its a volunteer-effort, just throwing out a couple ideas. It's all cool, I'll still be slowly working on my green mundane/druid either way. We'd all like our own inventory of cool things, ninja stars and soul-reaving katanas and whatnot, just take it as another idea. Thanks, getting long-winded.

Yes, you still get both those attack spells. You cant have the best of both worlds and have an easy time in doing so. I am sorry their arnt many players on, but that doesnt mean I should alter an entire class to make up for it. The easiest solution is to tell some freinds about akarra and to get them playing it so that you can have some people to fs with. Sorry if its difficult, but it is definitely worth the effort.

I agree, it is a hard class to do, but I look forward to the final rewards.

Yeah, I understand, just kickin' around a few ideas. I plan on working on a green-soul druid for a while, started one the other day. Seems like it will be a very nice class, well worth the effort, green's the only way for me.
Was Nature's Holy Handle intended more for Druids or Magic-Users in general?
Very cool class, looking forward to it.

I noticed the new nature's holy handle is no longer gifted only, is it going to stay that way? Just wondering in case I make a shining neo.

Also, can Silence be fixed? It's self-target as well, and otherwise useless.

I would fix silence, but that would definitely rquire a player wipe, otherwise you would have an inactive skill. so not worth fixing. Holymight is more meant for monks, it works fine.

Isn't it possible to add a new 'fixed' Silence skill? Maybe call it something else even. I don't think people would mind having an empty skill, most probably don't have enough gems to fill in all their skills anyway. Or is that what you meant?

Having a skill in the game that should no longer be in the game causes envy amoung new players as well as makes others beleive the game is unfair. I know the skill wouldnt be useful anyway, but some people veiw it that way. Also I rceive many questions about why some pople have two skills that are the same when this happens and it actually causes quite a bit of fuss. So a wipe would be nessicary to remove the players that have a skill they shouldnt. Silence will be fixed, but at a later date when more options may be available.
