When you make a new character, you have to choose a religion and your soul colour. All the soul colours are described very differently and the shining and gifted are very different from each other as well. When you make a warrior, you don't care much about your soul colour and even less about your religion. Religion and soul colour must be chosen by each character not depending on their class, even if they become warrior they should have to worry about what soul they choose and which of the two faiths they choose. Ok, so mages have to worry about which soul they are cause they get different skills that are only for some spesific soul colour, that's good but soul colour AND religion should play a large role in every character's skills/armour/accessible areas or even quests that they can acchieve (just examples). Because everyone has a soul colour and a religion they shouldn't affect only the mage or neophyte class. And when you are a neophyte, you just pick a religion for which weapon you think is cooler: sickle or sword, they don't have any differences (same requirements but different religion) and if they did have any melee attributes that differ, it wouldn't make any difference cause you can't kill enemies above lvl 22 by hitting them with your neosickle/neosword you got at lvl 16 and you usually don't even use the neophyte "weapon" for attacking at all. I just think soul colour and religion should play a bigger role in every character's life...

That's very thought out and cool. I definitely agree, this should some how be put into Akarra more strongly than it is now. Good work.

I disagree that religion should effect every class. I dont see why it should matter if your goal in life is to crush enemy with your sword or axe. Religion should make no difference there. I dont see why Necromancer branch, the most unholy and defiant of god class should care which god they worship either. I could however see how it might effect the paladin class, or any of the neophyte tree. There was always a goal to eventually make two relgious towns each town with a different religion. Depending on which you chose thats the town that will talk to your char and of course there would be quests there. Color does play a pretty major role for the warrior's final classes. Since only then does your warrior specialize enough in his trade to want to learn skills. A weapon master has no buisness learning special attacks, so the final branch gets the skills. Knights have their warstomp and Thugs have sprint and evade. There may be some more color specific skills for warrior's but nothing is in the process of being made at this time.
